Finally, all the Bridgertons are lover boys and girls. Forget the demure smiles of the ladies and the courteous display of charm and grace from the men. Beyond all of that, they’re well equipped with an arsenal of steeze and unmatched rizz. I wonder where they got it from🤔

With various banging punchlines that make you want to get a pen and paper to joff things down.  From Daphne’s “It is you I cannot sacrifice” (wow, just wow!), to “I burn for you” (somebody pour water please), top it off with Collin’s declaration of love for Penelope, it just had me in my feelings.

Did you cry watching their love stories unfold? Let’s explore some of the Bridgerton love stories we really enjoyed watching the most.

Daphne Bridgerton and Simon (Duke of Hastings)

From pretend love to real love. Fairy tales don’t get better than this. Imagine running from marriage and avoiding the ton, only to end up marrying the apple of the ton’s eye.

Not only that but their marriage blossomed into the most beautiful thing that their hearts couldn’t have put together. Their love story was quite interesting and it’s so relatable.

Anthony Bridgerton and Kate (Viscount and Viscountess)

“You are the bane of my existence and the object of all my desires…”

Anthony was a sworn player and even when marriage came calling, he wanted to stay that way until he met Kate. The one woman who could challenge him and evoke all sorts of emotions he didn’t know he had capacity to display.

Their love story was full of witty comebacks and a truckload of steamy lines from Anthony. I mean, who else declares their love with so much passion, it sounds like a fight without reducing the romantic import of those words.

Penelope and Collin Bridgerton

Dearest “genteel” reader (in Lady Whistledown’s voice😀).

They were the most unlikely couple. Giving credence to the popular saying, “love happens in strange places.”

Penelope and Collin gave this high school crush vibes where one party is crushing since forever and the other is oblivious till they realize it’s been love all along.

Those kinds of love stories are the sweetest. Brings back memories of my crush (in this case, I was the oblivious party). I’ll just save the story for later.

George and Charlotte

Theirs has to be the most controversial love story in the Bridgerton series. Their love will have you considering the possibility of an arranged marriage, even in this day and age. That’s powerful!

This minute, she’s trying to climb up a wall and escape getting married to him, the next minute, she’s smiling down the aisle to get married to him.

This instant, George is spitting facts on why they can’t be together or have a regular union, the next, he is confessing his undying love for her and that he can’t breathe without her.

Pick a hustle guys, I can’t be falling in and out of love on your behalf, it is exasperating! The uniqueness of their story and how rare their kind of love is, makes it even more interesting.

Maybe the next love story would beat this but so far, this has to be my favourite Bridgerton love story.

It’s okay if you don’t agree with me, let’s take this conversation to the next level on Fusion’s Netflix community and we can have a debate about whose love story is the best so far and why. I’ll be waiting to hear from you.
