Picture this: you wake up, log on, and every task you complete feels like a tiny brick laid on the road to your dream career. That’s what interning at Fusion has felt like for me; a learning curve wrapped in creative chaos and filled with vibes.

From day one, it’s been more than just writing articles on our blog. It’s been about growing as a content marketer, gaining clarity with every feedback session, and picking up gems from mentors like OrevaOghene Ben and Nesiama Esther (who have the perfect balance of encouragement and “your grammar is falling my hand”).

And yes, we work hard but we also gist, laugh, and sometimes debate the philosophical meaning of perfumes. It’s work, but make it Fusion-style: collaborative, intentional, and fun-filled.

Let me take you through the process…

The Great Editing

The mixed feeling that comes with the message “I’ve edited your work” I’ll be hoping I haven’t messed up my grammar or used unnecessary long sentences.

The good thing remains that with each comment and suggestion after editing, comes a better understanding of the process.

My writing has improved all thanks to the spontaneity of the Fusion blog and Nesiama Esther’s editing prowess.

Publishing, My Bittersweet Friend

publishing content my bittersweet friend

The relief after I’ve successfully published a post. Omo! From looking for pictures that flow with the story to optimizing for SEO, publishing was a battleground that turned into my playground.

Now, I look forward to every publishing I’m tasked with as a fun challenge to see how good I can make it look, and feel, to the readers.

Distribution and the Awesome Communities on Fusion

Content Marketing isn’t just about writing alone but also about distributing to the right channels. So, in case you see me dropping a link in your DMs or group, just know I’m hustling and you must read my blog. Yes, it’s by fire, by force!

The communities on Fusion have also given me a chance to interact with people from different niche communities who share my interests and vibe. It’s a fun place to be!

I’m building a community you’ll love. Named “All Things Events On Fusion” Check it out 🙂

Positive Thinking

Thinking back to my first week here I can remember when OrevaOghene Ben said “We’re a really cool team.” After a few months on the team, I totally agree with that.

Now I’m hoping for the best from here onward, and I’m looking forward to every “I’ve edited your work” I can get, and every good work I get to publish.

Every step so far has brought me closer to being a well-versed SEO Specialist and Content Marketer. I’m really grateful for that.

Until we meet again. Ciao!
