The Crow
This remake, done 20 years after the original movie, features Eric Draven (Bill Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA Twigs). They are a couple deeply in love, who are tragically murdered by individuals from Shelly’s troubled past. Eric is offered a second chance at life but at a great personal cost.
He returns to the world of the living, driven by a fierce determination to avenge their murders and protect Shelly’s memory; even if it means navigating the dangerous boundaries between life and death. The Crow is set to be theatrically released on August 23, 2024. Directed by Rupert Sanders.
Alien: Romulus
“Alien: Romulus” is the latest installment in the iconic Alien franchise. It is the seventh film in the series and the ninth overall to feature the deadly xenomorphs. Directed by Fede Álvarez, this highly anticipated movie takes place 20 years after the events of the original 1979 classic. Alien: Romulus serves as a thrilling bridge between the first two films.
The story follows a group of young space colonizers who embark on an adventure, exploring the depths of an abandoned space station. However, their exploration takes a terrifying turn when they come face-to-face with the universe’s most feared creature – the acid-blooded alien.
As the colonizers struggle to survive this horror, they must confront the evil forces that have brought them to this distant world. With suspense, action, and heart-pumping tension, “Alien: Romulus” promises to be a captivating addition to the Alien saga, delving deeper into the dark mysteries of the xenomorphs and their merciless reign of terror.
Trap
In the gripping film “Trap,” Josh Hartnett portrays a sinister serial killer known as “The Butcher”. He attends a concert featuring the talented Lady Raven (Saleka Shyamalan).
However, his plans take a surprising turn when he discovers that the event is actually a clever police operation designed to capture him. As the suspenseful cat-and-mouse game unfolds, “The Butcher” must utilize his wit and cunning to evade the authorities and escape.
But with unexpected twists and turns, nothing is certain until the very end. Trap is set to hit theaters on August 9.
